Review by hotel critic
Stepping into La Posada de Santa Fe felt like entering a charming time capsule of Old California. the cozy Spanish Mission ambiance, with its well-appointed lobby and simply adorned rooms, instantly set the mood for a relaxing stay. the unique double shower heads in the bathroom provided a luxurious spa-like experience that I had never encountered before, adding a special touch to my visit. The hotel's rich history as an art colony shone through in its décor and the Gallery Collection, showcasing Southwestern art. the friendly staff and family-run atmosphere added a personalized touch to my experience, making me feel right at home. Despite the Wi-Fi hiccup and lack of internet access during my visit, the overall comfort and charm of La Posada de Santa Fe won me over. the small fireplace in my room, along with the jetted tub and balcony, provided moments of relaxation and tranquility. I even extended my stay to enjoy the delicious breakfast, featuring waffles and other treats, at the Patio Restaurant. In the heart of Santa Fe, this historic property truly captured my heart with its unique blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Whether exploring the local art scene or simply unwinding in the lush surroundings, La Posada de Santa Fe offered a memorable stay that left me longing to return. Perfect for solo travelers or those seeking a cozy retreat with a touch of artistic flair, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the Land of Enchantment. A must-visit for anyone craving a taste of traditional Southwestern hospitality.
